Try this amazing recipe for dense Banana Bread – with yoghurt, chocolate chips, pistachios and cranberries.

5 Ripe Bananas
1/2 Cup of plain Yoghurt
2 Eggs
1 Tbs. Pure Vanilla
1 Cup Oats
1/2 cup Black Sesame Seeds
1/2 cup Pistachios, chopped
1/2 cup Dry Cranberries
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
Pinch of Salt, Baking powder and Baking Soda
2 Tbs. Sugar
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tbs. Oil

How to
Preheat the oven to 375F/190C.

In a food processor or blender put peeled ripe bananas, and pulse until they are mashed.

Add yoghurt, eggs, vanilla extract, oats, sesame seeds, pistachios, dry cranberries and mix in the food processor or a blender until well combined.

In a large bowl add dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and sugar; Stir with a wooden spoon and then add Chocolate chips.

Pour the Banana mixture over it and stir, add water and mix some more until all the ingredients are incorporated.

Grease the Baking Pan and dust with just a bit of flour or use parchment paper.

Pour the Banana Bread Mixture and bake for 25-30 minutes or until it is golden brown – if your loaf is larger then allow it to bake for 40 minutes.

Take it out of the pan and cover it completely in a Kitchen Towel. This will make your bread softer and more moist – but you can just lightly cover it too and cool on a cooling rack.
