Simple recipe for Easy No Knead Bread – also no need for a bread maker

2 1/2 cups warm water
2 tsp dry yeast
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup vegetable shortening
1 tbsp of salt
6 cups all purpose flour
melted butter

How to
Pour the warm water into a bowl with the yeast, stir until melted and then add the honey, shortening, salt and half of the flour.

Knead for about 3 minutes and add the remaining flour. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

At this point, divide the dough in half and transfer it to two loaf tins where it will rise for another hour.

Preheat the oven to 375F/190C and bake the bread for 45 minutes.

In the meantime, melt some butter and brush the bread just as it comes out of the oven.
