Fill your cookie jar with this Chocolate Crinkle Cookies recipe
230g of bittersweet chocolate
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler with the butter and let it cool. In a separate bowl mix the eggs with the sugar until soft peaks form, add the vanilla and the melted chocolate with the butter.
Gradually add the flour, salt and yeast (previously mixed in a bowl). Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge overnight if possible. Using a teaspoon make a ball and roll it in the icing sugar and arrange on a baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 160C for 8-10 minutes. The centre will be soft. They will keep for a few days in a cookie jar but are unbeatable when fresh out the oven
