Enjoy this spicy Korean BBQ Beef recipe
600g beef, skirt steak or tri-tip
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/3 cup chopped onion chives or spring onions
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs minced garlic
2 tbs minced ginger
2 tbs sesame oil
2 tsp sriracha sauce or chili sauce
Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Reserve 1/3 of the marinade for sauce. Set aside.
Slice beef into 2.5cm thick slices or 1/2cm thin slices (your choice). Pour marinade over and let sit overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat broiler or grill. Broil or grill beef, 2 – 3 minutes on each side (if grilling 2.5cm thick slices).
Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing into 1/2cm slices. If using 1/2cm thick slices, broil, grill or pan fry quickly.
Serve warm sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds as garnish.
