Try this cheesy recipe for Peppadew Bread this Sunday with your braai.
10 French loaves or about 20 mini loaves
1 tube garlic butter
1 tub chunky cottage cheese
1 bottle Melrose biltong cheese spread
10 peppadews, chopped
2 T peppadew oil
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Half-slice the bread in 3cm intervals, about 3/4 of the way down, making sure not to touch the bottom.
Mix the filling ingredients together. Stuff a tablespoon or two of the filling into each slice. Wrap the loaf tightly in tinfoil.
Cook in the oven for 20 minutes (fresh) or 40 minutes (from frozen) until golden crispy. Serve hot.
