Sweetly simple recipe for a Summer Strawberry Salad
1 punnet (400g) strawberries
1 punnet mixed salad leaves
1 red onion, sliced into half rings
½ cup (125 ml) Ina Paarman’s Low Oil Balsamic Dressing
Ina Paarman’s Lemon & Black Pepper Seasoning
It is important to rinse the strawberries first, before removing the green stalk to avoid water running into the hollows.
Cut the strawberries into quarter wedges.
Line the salad platter with greens, sprinkle over onion half rings and strawberries.
Cover with cling film and refrigerate if making in advance. Season with Lemon & Black Pepper Seasoning and dress just before serving with Balsamic Vinegar.
