Simple to make recipe for Chocolate Mousse with melted marshmellows, strawberries and whipped cream.
20 pink & white marshmallows
2 slabs (100g) milk or dark chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup (250ml) fresh cream – whipped
additional whipped cream, chocolate shavings and strawberries for decorating.
Melt the marshmallows in a bowl over a pot of boiling water on the stove.
Once all marshmallows are completely melted, break the chocolate into pieces and add to the melted marshmallows.
Allow the chocolate to melt before removing the pot from the stove.
Add in the vanilla essence.
Allow to cool slightly before folding in the whipped fresh cream.
Spoon into small dessert bowls or one big bowl and refrigerate until set.
Decorate with additional whipped cream, chocolate shavings and strawberries.
