If you’re looking for a healthy snack, try these low GI and low fat Bran Muffins.

1 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
1/2 cup non-fat yoghurt, Sugar free
1/4 cup unprocessed bran
1 cup natural Sultanas or Raisins
1/4 cup skim milk powder
1 egg white or substitute
1/2 cup unsweetened Apple or grape juice

How to
Preheat oven to 180C.

Combine all ingredients until the mixture resembles cake consistency.

Place spoonfuls into non-stick muffins tins (or use spray oil substitute).

Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until brown
