Try this recipe for homemade pizza on the braai or in the oven

Ingredients
1 Packet Pizza Dough OR pre-made pizza bases
1 Block Cheddar cheese, grated
½ Red pepper, sliced
½ Green pepper, sliced
½ Onion, sliced
1 Medium Tomato, sliced
1 Tin Tomato and Onion mix
½ Punnet button mushrooms
2 Pieces Chicken breast, cooked and chopped
Sweet Chilli Sauce
Salt & Pepper
Italian herbs
1 Cup Plain Flour

How to
Sprinkle the flour on the surface you will be working on, as well as your rolling pin.

Place the pizza dough on the floured surface and roll out to the thickness you desire.

Carefully peel the flat dough off the surface and place on the large pizza pan.

Spread the tinned tomato and onion mix over the base of the dough.

Sprinkle the chicken pieces evenly over the pizza base.

Place your peppers, onion, tomato, mushrooms over the pizza base around and on top of the chicken pieces.

Squeeze over dollops of sweet chilli sauce – don’t go to crazy with the sauce.

Sprinkle over the base with the grated cheese.

Add salt, pepper and herbs over the cheese layer.

Cooking instructions:
Use 6 – 8 pieces of charcoal

Place the pizza pan on the Weber once the heat is at a medium to low temperature.

Cover with the Weber lid.

Cook for about 10 – 15 minutes or until the base has become firmer and golden in colour and the cheese has melted.
