We may not be able to buy any gin but that shouldn’t stand in the way of celebrating cocktail o’clock
6 Delicious and refreshing alcohol free cocktails you can enjoy at every level of the lockdown.
Tonic & Tea
A rich tea syrup is a great way to add flavour and body to an alcohol-free drink. Use Fever-Tree Indian tonic to balance the strong flavours of Earl Grey.
Fill a long glass with ice. Add a shot of tea syrup, 15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice and top up with tonic. Gently stir, garnish with a lemon wedge and serve.
Make a simple Earl Grey tea syrup by combining 1 cup sugar and half cup water in a small saucepan and bringing to a boil to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add 2 – 3 Earl Grey tea bags. Cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let cool for 30 minutes.
Tonic & Elderflower Cordial
A favourite across the globe is the sweet, refreshing taste of Elderflower. Use Fever-Tree Elderflower tonic to compliment the cordial base.
Add one shot of Elderflower cordial to a long glass with ice. Then top up with tonic water. Garnish with a slice of fresh lime and serve.
Tonic & Bitters
Just a few dashes of bitters will add a depth of flavour to your tonic, taking it to a whole new level. Use Fever-Tree Aromatic tonic for the very best mix.
Fill a glass with ice and tonic. Then add 4 – 6 dashes of bitters and stir. Garnish with a citrus wedge or pressed herb sprig and serve.

A thirst-quencher that combines floral flavours from the Mediterranean with the sweetness of cucumber and the bitterness of tonic.
In a glass muddle cucumber slices and add 1 – 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Top with ice and Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic. Garnish with a squeeze from a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
