Delicious and creamy peri-peri chicken livers are a crowd-pleaser. This quick easy and budget-friendly recipe is the perfect casual dining experience for the weekend and holidays.


  • 2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1.00 Medium Onions, Raw
  • 1 Garlic Clove, Crushed
  • 500g Chicken Livers, Trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) Peri-Peri Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp (30ml) MAGGI LAZENBY Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Can Diced Tomato Mix
  • 1 can (290g) NESTLÉ Dessert & Cooking Cream
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • Red or Green Chilli, Sliced
  • Bread Rolls

How to

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onion and garlic for 5 minutes. Increase the heat and add the chicken livers, searing each side for 1 minute.

  2. Add the MAGGI LAZENBY Worcestershire sauce and tomatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  3. Stir in the cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve topped with fresh coriander and chillies, if desired, and vetkoek or bread rolls.
