Author: Lara Aspeling

Lara was born in Jo’burg and relocated to Cape Town several years ago, fulfilling a dream of making her favorite holiday destination her home. She's traveled in Europe, experiencing some of its magic and romance, only to become even more enchanted by the loveliness of our own backyard in South Africa, and the Western Cape in particular. Her passion for nature and desire to preserve it have always given her a zeal for exploration and discovery, making a story out of every adventure. She immerses herself in cultures, from the sights and sounds to the cuisine and creature comforts. When she's not taking photographs or sightseeing, she's at home with her husband, Steve, and their two fur children. She is a teacher, a gardener, a reader and a friend.
