'A conscious traveller with a deep love for Africa, its people and the environment, Dawn travels to learn more about the world that we live in whilst promoting Travel that Matters. From gorilla trekking in Uganda, tree planting in Zambia, turtle rescue in Kenya and island hopping in Thailand, she believes that she's just getting started. On her blog The Incidental Tourist she shares stories and photographs as well as accommodation reviews and useful advise from her international and local travels. Dawn has collaborated on Travel Campaigns with South African Tourism and worked with SWISS, Singapore, South African and Turkish Airlines, Switzerland and Thailand Tourism, Trafalgar Travel and Reunion Island Tourism among others, promoting their routes and offerings. She has recently been named an ambassador for the global Green Pearls Unique Places , a collective of resorts who place emphasis on sustainability and ecotourism. She is also the Cape Town Chapter Leader for the international organisation Travel Massive. Dawn regularly contributes to online and print magazines, as well as radio, which allows her to bring her stories to a wider audience.
