“Our business is to spoil, pamper, and care. To create a space in nature where friends can meet again, couples can be together again, and individuals can breathe again – and where everyone can just ‘be’ again.”
With the Crocodile River just metres away and a beautiful view over the Zwartkop Mountains, the first thought going through your mind as you arrive will be … ”peace and quiet” …
Riverview Spa near Muldersdrift, Gauteng, is a “happy place” for guests. It combines the elements of Mother Nature including water and stone, to calm your senses, body and mind. The spa’s informal, ‘down to earth’ approach makes it completely unique.

The Riverview Spa Experience starts where the tarred road ends
Your arrival alone will set the scene – driving on the dirt road towards the Riverview Spa gates you will experience freedom, space and fresh air. With zebra and blue wildebeest roaming the fields around you, your mind begins to relax and unwind.
The Riverview Spa works hand-in-hand with the Cradle Moon Conservancy, where guests can enjoy a variety of activities in combination with their spa packages. Game drives, boat cruises, hot air ballooning, mountain biking and walking trails can be explored and enjoyed.
Riverview Spa therapy focuses on relaxation
Riverview Spa therapists are very well experienced and dedicated to offering the best possible treatment. Most of them have been part of the Riverview family for many years. They understand the heart of the business and enjoy spoiling guests by taking extra special care of them.
Riverview Spa therapy focuses on relaxation. Different massage techniques are combined with the purest of oils, scrubs and mud masks, to ensure guests leave feeling relaxed, revived, and rejuvenated.
The spa also offers various hydrotherapy options which include Jacuzzis, pools and a steam room. These facilities are booked privately for individual groups or couples.
Riverview Spa features ten couple- or group-treatment rooms.
The largest room can accommodate six guests per session. This large room is right on the river – so close that no music can compete with the sound of running water. All the other rooms accommodate two or three guests, so friends or couples can enjoy their treatments together.
Nature is a major feature at the spa. Some rooms are based near the water, while others are situated in the garden overlooking the treetops.
The Riverview Café is a small, intimate dining space near the reception of the spa. The café serves scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and can put together gorgeous picnic baskets for guests to enjoy out in nature.
