Who says going back to work has to be dull and boring?. Clouds reckons you could take these easy pieces from your holiday into the office. What do you think?

I popped into Revenge on Monday and pretty much loved everything

These days they’re stocking bang-on-trend pieces most of which in cotton fabrics which is so much healthier for our skins.

The challenging part for me was choosing only a few items. Post-Christmas bank accounts are skinnier than our thighs and even though it’s still summer the holidays, we need to think about going back to work.

So here are three ideas of what to buy now and still wear later

Crisp and fresh pieces translate well from summer into an office environment, so look our for white or pinstripe cotton.

Secondly, bold prints are always a winner. They add a dash o’ fun to the sorrows of having to get up in the mornings for work and will also distract the eye from the few bulges we may have developed over the festive season.

And finally, show some skin discreetly. If you’re wearing a baggy top or a wide-cut dress, keep it light and either flash your sun-kissed shoulders or wear a length above the knee.
