3. Your child just doesn’t like the way you prepare her veggies

Have you ever asked your child how she would like her vegetables to be prepared?

Your child’s veggie phobia could be as simple as you not getting the taste combos right: You might serve it plain, but she might prefer it sprinkled with some lemon and herbs (on broccoli and peas), or cinnamon (on pumpkin and butternut), or nutmeg (on cabbage), or grated cheese (on anything). Or he may like to eat them raw, with some hummus or plain yoghurt to dip them into.

Next time you prepare vegetables, include your child in the preparation and seasoning. It’s unlikely that a child will refuse to taste something that she helped make.
