After weeks of speculation, local presenter Boity finally confirmed what the whole of Mzansi had been wondering: that she’s a sangoma. The Ridiculousness hostess took to social media to reveal that she had accepted a ‘calling’ and is now officially a traditional healer. While a lot of people were skeptical of the news, wondering if it was a publicity stunt, many others were happy for her and the congratulations have been pouring in.

The most recent person to wish Boity well is Letoya Makhene, who herself is a traditional healer

Letoya, who stars on Generations: The Legacy, took to Instagram to share a picture of Boity in her traditional attire and wished her the very best.

Boity has now joined an elite group of South African celebrities who received the calling to be a healer, including Dineo Ranaka, Buhle Mda (who recently returned to the Soil after completing her training) and Lerato Mvelase.

Congratulations once again to Boity and we wish her the best in the future.
