The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…
Especially in the case of Bonang Mathebe and her just-as-glamorous half-sister, Reabetswe “Rambi” Sechoaro.
Beauty, brains AND a big heart
The 21-year-old model, and former Miss South Africa 2016 contestant is not just a pretty face! Determined to pave her own way to success, Rambi is a Bcom Accounting Sciences student at UNISA. In between studies and modelling, Rambi does charity work as well!
A passion for the entertainment industry, just like her sister
Although the sisters don’t get to see much of each other due to hectic work schedules, they both share a passion for the entertainment industry.
Rambi recently told Drum that she has learnt a lot from her sister’s success. “My sister gave me a few tips on having a thick skin in order to survive in the industry”, she explained.
A business woman in the making
Focused on building her own brand, Rambi refuses to ride on her older sister’s fame. She credits the Miss SA platform as giving her a space to talk about the things she’s passionate about – which is being a business woman, modelling and children.
As if her beauty, brains and big heart weren’t enough – Rambi is also a fierce advocate of girls standing together. “We should stand united and not try to pull each other down. If we encourage each other, we can all reach our potential.”
