5. Kettlebell workouts

Kettlebells are cannonballs with handles attached.

They are originally a Russian exercise tradition and are a highly effective way to get a great workout in a short time using a couple of movements in a circuit.

Here’s a good example:

  • 10 goblet squats
  • 20 swings
  • 10 shoulder presses
  • 20 swings
  • 10 snatches
  • 20 swings
  • 10 around-the-worlds
  • 20 swings

Do the circuit two or three times.
