A year ago, Big Brother winners Ace and Ntombi were getting ready to enter the house for the most recent season of Big Brother Mzansi
A few months later, they were crowned as that season’s winners after edging out some stiff competition; coming out ahead of power couple, Blue and K2.
The couple walked away with R2 million as a result and it looked like life could only get better from there. How wrong we were.
Fast forward to February 2016, where the couple is on the front page of the tabloids, and not for donating their millions to charity
The two were arrested after being found in the possession of drugs.
The Daily Sun reports that after receiving a tip-off, the South African police arrested both Ace and Ntombi in Soweto. The Big Brother winners were allegedly in possession of marijuana, ecstasy and other drug paraphernalia.
This isn’t the first negative story that we’ve come across since they won Big Brother
Back in August 2015, the Sunday Sun reported that they had gone bankrupt and were in debt after blowing their R2 million cash prize.
Although the couple denied these reports at the time, Thursday’s Daily Sun has quotes from their landlord at the time, who claims that she was owed R2 800.
“They would leave their bathroom dirty and their bedroom was a pigsty. She asked if I knew who they were. They told me how rude I was for demanding money and said R2 800 was nothing to them. Ntombi told me to watch YouTube!”
The couple will be appearing in court on Thursday to meet their fate
Do you think Ntombi and Ace could be facing jail time?
