Facemask to beat acne breakouts

This is one of the simplest and most effective facemasks to treat acne or blemishes. Using ingredients youâ??ll find in any kitchen, it can be made in two minutes. This facemask really works to eliminate redness and dry up pimples.

To make this mask youâ??ll need:

  • Two packets of baking soda

  • Some warm water

Mix the baking soda with a little water, until it forms a thick paste. Apply to the face for 20 minutes and then wash off. This mask is gentle enough to use twice a week and will leave your skin soft and clear.

Facemask for normal skin

Normal skin benefits greatly from a fruit pack, so that it looks moisturised and bright thanks to the essential oils and natural AHAs found in fruit.

To make this mask youâ??ll need:

  • Half a ripe avocado

  • One teaspoon of lemon juice

  • One teaspoon of natural yoghurt

  • One egg yolk

Mix all the ingredients together into a smooth paste (you may have to blend it). Apply all over your face and neck area and leave on for 20 minutes or until the mask hardens. Wash off with warm water. This mask can be applied once a week and will leave your skin feeling soft and looking great.

Facemask for dry skin

Dry skin is usually slightly sensitive and prone to getting red easily so an all-natural homemade facial is great for this skin type.

To make this mask youâ??ll need:

  • One teaspoon of natural yoghurt

  • Two teaspoons of finely ground almonds

  • Two teaspoons of honey

  • One teaspoon of wheatgerm oil

Mix all the ingredients into a paste and apply to your face and décolletage. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinsing off with cold water. Pat your skin gently to dry it.

Facemask for oily skin

Oily skin needs special care and attention because itâ??s more susceptible to breakouts and blemishes. Deep-cleansing is a great idea for this skin type.

To make this mask youâ??ll need:

  • Two teaspoons natural clay or kaolin

  • One beaten egg white

  • Two teaspoon of crushed oats or cornflakes

  • Two teaspoon rose water

Mix these ingredients together into a soggy paste. Apply to the skin and neck and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off gentle with tepid water to unveil a glowing and soft complexion.
