It’s been about 21 years since I was first introduced to the awesomeness that is Guns N’ Roses and I still absolutely love their music

Back in the day, I and my friends thought Axl Rose and Slash were the hottest human beings – ever. Even though there were other members in the band, they didn’t really feature in our silly schoolgirl chats – it was all Axl and Slash.

Guys couldn’t wait to finish school, so they could grow their hair and we all (guys and girls) wanted leather jackets and what was then known as ‘blanket shirts’ – do any of you remember those? And, how owning a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt elevated you to ‘coolus-maximus’ status – instantly?

Ah, the good ol’ days …
