The man from Southampton – named as Mark Colborne – reportedly plotted to kill the 66-year-old royal in a bid to ensure that the future monarch was not “dark haired,” hoping instead for Prince Harry to become king

In a notebook siezed from the man, he wrote: “Take down a silent rifle, take up a good stalker position and put a bullet in Prince Charles’s head. He is protected but not too protected. I would sacrifice my life for that one-shot.

“Kill Charles and William and Harry become king. Kill the tyrants.”

The 37-year-old man was reported to police by his mother and half-brother last June after they found chemicals and notes detailing racial hatred in his house, with police later discovering that he had been researching how to create poisons and explosives

Writing in his notebook, he admitted that he hoped he would no longer be a “red-headed victimised minority” if he committed the crime.

It read: “I want them to see my transition from poor red-haired victimised minority that is constantly walked over to a fully transformed military terrorist.”

Prosecutor Darlow told the Old Bailey court: “He clearly had experienced a troubled childhood and perceived himself as marginalised and belittled by society because he was a white, ginger-haired male.”

The man denies preparing terrorist acts.

Meanwhile, Charles has reportedly given money to the Church of Scientology, the organisation have claimed

The sci-fi cult’s prisoner programme, Criminon – which runs rehabilitation courses for offenders throughout the world – claims the 66-year-old prince has made at least one donation in the last two years.

A posting on their website from November 2013 claims: “We’re pleased to announce that we have received a further donation from His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall.”

Criminon is run by Greg Capazorio, who is married to Tom Cruise’s sister Cass, and he and his spouse live with the ‘Mission: Impossible’ actor, who is a prominent member of the church.

Criminon has previously claimed to have a branch in “every prison” in the UK – but government officials insist only three people in the whole prison system are Scientologists

They have said of their scheme: “Criminon UK provides crime prevention and rehabilitation programs to people in need.

“It also delivers drug rehabilitation programmes to offenders. It is a registered charity and the programs are available to anyone regardless of race, religion, sex, age, disability or offence committed.

“Criminon organisations worldwide provide the program using courses that address some of the key factors that are known to cause criminality; such as lack of self respect, illiteracy and a lack of moral values.”
