Entertainment Editor Megan van den Heever chatted to Kajal Bagwandeen about skin-bleaching, her soapie roles and her celeb style inspirations…

Skin-lightening creams – Yay or nay?

Personally I don’t agree with it. Why would one advertise “lighter is better”?

It makes one conscious of the colour of one’s skin, (As if we aren’t faced with enough of that already) question the beauty of it and create insecurities that probably weren’t even there in the first place.

Are you planning to return to soapies Isidingo and 7de Laan?

I would love to! That depends on the writers and when they would like to bring my characters back.

Would you ever pose nude or film a sex scene?

No to posing nude!

As an actor you need to become your character in all respects and I truly believe it is vital, but at this point in my life that I don’t think I would film a sex scene.

Body double please!
