Cashtime member K.O. in December last year revealed that the hip hop family is launching Nomuzi’s rap career. Their much-anticipated track, called Se7en, was released on Friday, 13 March

Se7en‘s imminent release had online users bursting with excitement even the day before it dropped, and Moozlie, as Nomuzi is affectionately known, on Friday morning created even more online hype as she painstakingly counted down the hours, and then minutes until the song’s release.

“Good Morning… It’s FINALLY here!!” she wrote on Instagram Friday morning.

And also wrote: “It’s been a long time coming but the wait is nearly over… Who’s ready to hear #se7en??

“I’m so excited for you guys to hear this song!! and I know @kidxsa is too. This is honestly for the fans, we’ve had you in mind the whole time. Only 30 mins till #se7en goes live to the world. TELL EVERYBAAADY!”

Thrilled by the positive response the song has received in the short time it’s been available, Kid X tweeted: “The response is THROUGH THE ROOF!! #WOW #Se7en u beauty.”

Moozlie and Kid X are set to perform Se7en live for the first time on Friday evening, 13 March, at Kong nightclub in Rosebank, Joburg.

Nomuzi Mabena has been a presenter on MTV Base since she was crowned winner of the channel’s 2012 VJ search.
