The gum in the hair story. I imagine there are few people in the world who do not know that working peanut butter into hair that has been squished up with chewing gum, makes it easy to comb out. For the few who did not know this, now you do! Shampoo as normal afterwards.
More gum removal tips. A little peanut butter will remove the gum from anything made of leather. When you have scraped gum off fabric there is often a remaining stain. Simply rub some peanut butter into the mark and wash as usual.
Plug up drippy cones. We often find that the tip of ice cream cones have a hole in them. To avoid having melting ice cream all over your hands, just put a blob of peanut butter in the bottom to act as a sealant before you pile in the ice cream.
Fishy smells. Fried fish may be a favourite in the family, but the lingering odour in the kitchen can be a big turn off. If you put a small amount of peanut butter into the frying pan along with the fish, like magic the smell will go. Don’t ask my why but I know it works!
Rats and mice! All I am told is that these rodents prefer peanut butter to cheese! I will leave the rest to you. Personally, I think traps are awful, but if you don’t mind, give it a try, I guess.
