I’m a total Dermalogica fan. I use their special cleansing gel in the morning, and their overnight clearing gel in the evening, with both products producing fantastic results. I’ve also been using their Extreme C powder to lighten pigmentation marks on my face. So, I was pretty excited to get my hands on Dermalogica’s new foundations, Sheer Tint (a tinted moisturiser) and Cover Tint (a full coverage foundation), both with SPF 20. Each product retails for R550 from selected spas and salons.

The beauty benefits
Dermalogica’s new make-up contains active ingredients like hydrating hyaluronic acid, antioxidant plant extracts and skin-firming ginseng, that now make it possible to improve the look of your skin while covering up.
Both the foundation and tinted moisturiser are deeply hydrating, which is vital for me as my skin can get quite dry. The foundation also promises to support skin cell renewal and collagen generation – which is just a fancy way of saying your skin will look younger and firmer!
Lots of love for Cover Tint
Of the two new products, I prefer the foundation, Cover Tint, as it offers a long-lasting and buildable type of cover, plus cute little sponges which are provided with it. I really like that it’s non-greasy and light, yet covers my skin quite nicely, concealing any problem areas.
Have you tried one of these products yet? If yes, which one do you prefer?
