After a lot of back and forth and many rumours of cancellation and postponement, R Kelly has reportedly confirmed that he’ll be playing two shows in South Africa in August…
The Sowetan reports that the R&B star, who allegedly struggles with a debilitating fear of flying, will play in Johannesburg and Durban, but not in Cape Town.
“We are very excited that R Kelly will be performing to South African audiences again, and we are certain that he will give audiences in Johannesburg and Durban an epic show that has some of his well-known songs as well as some newer tracks from his recent releases,” said concert organizer, Tim Hill.
As part of his ‘Single Ladies Tour’, R Kelly will be at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg on Thursday 8 August, and at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday 10 August.
Tickets cost between R477 and R901, and are available from Computicket.
Those bought prior to this official confirmation will still be valid.
