I was recently gifted the full range from Boity’s Haircare collection from Halo Heritage. Here’s what I think of it…

Aimed at type 3 and 4 hair-types, the range includes ingredients like black seed oil, shea butter and a number of essential oils like argan, coconut and jojoba to promote hair growth, and keep your hair & scalp healthy, shiny and moisturised.

As a natural, I was curious to find out the product – which Boity says ‘represents African women’ – would fair.

And I was pleasantly surprised that it delivered on all my expectations!

Take a look at some of the reasons I love the range…

It smells heavenly

Not every hair care range smells good and works wonders too…

The Royal Cleanse Moisturising and Softening Shampoo is fresh and clean and offers just the right amount of foamy lather without stripping your hair, whilst the Royal Repair Ultra Intensive Conditioner smells and feels like a spa treatment on your head.

Did you know that the range also includes a Luxurious Hair Perfume?

It’s a must for damaged hair

I recently highlighted my hair, leaving it a bit worse for wear. But my curls were more than happy to soak up all the moisture from the Supreme Leave-In Conditioner which left my locks with a pleasant shine and smell.

Whether your hair is processed, coloured or dry from too much heat, the Sovereign Repair Serum is great  treatment to get it back to it’s optimal condition.

And a little goes a long way too!

It has none of the nasties in it

For any naturalista, knowing what goes in your hair product – and what doesn’t – is everything.

Knowing that the products are paraben free, sulfate free, cruelty and gluten free and made locally is what will make me choose it again and again.

They’ stunning packages are even recyclable!

A touch of royalty

If your hair is your crowing glory, it makes sense to treat it like royalty!

With names like ‘Royal’, ‘Supreme’, ‘Sovereign’ and ‘Empress’, Boity is doing the most to remind women to treat themselves and their hair – like the queens they are!

The Boity Haircare Collection can be purchased off the Halo Heritage site and from Takealot and Superbalist.
