Ashwagandha is far from being new, although it is rising in popularity all over the world. 

The ancient ayurvedic herb has many health benefits supported by scientific evidence, including reducing anxiety. Ashwagandha reduces cortisol (a hormone produced by the body in response to stress).

According to Healthline, chronically high cortisol levels can contribute to high blood pressure, and ashwagandha can be used to treat this.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the active ingredients of the cannabis plant that has stirred a lot of interest.
