After years out of the spotlight, Patricia Lewis is teasing a comebackthat has fans going wild…

The Afrikaans pop princess took a step back from her singing career to be a full-time wife and mother more than a decade ago and has managed to keep a low profile ever since.

During her lengthy hiatus, the veteran star moved to Zimbali, KZN, where she settled into ‘normalcy’ after 30 years in the entertainment industry.

Initially meant to return to the music last year, Patricia’s plans were put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

She wrote in an Instagram post; “Being sentimental, I wanted to release some of my new songs in March…The first songs that I’ve recorded in 11 years.

“Then, COVID hit a year ago, the world’s heartbeat stopped and time stood still! COVID left us reeling in heartbreak and other tragedies too sad to mention! One of COVID’S MANY life’s lessons, forced us / me to have more PATIENCE! ”

Patricia then revealed fans could expect to hear new music in the near future

She continued; “Ive been waiting for permission from overseas publishers/songwriters, to release these songs.
The publishers have to track down their families to get permission and this takes time…

“BUT these songs are ready, waiting in the wings, produced, written with love and care, with all of YOU in mind!
I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOU TO… “LEND ME YOUR EARS!”

Her followers were overjoyed at the star’s announcement.

“I cannot wait”, commented one, whilst another added; “Looking forward to hearing your new album”.
