Women all over the world are refusing to be pressured into ‘snap-back culture’ and rushing to lose the baby weight as soon as the baby is born

Kate Hudson is one of them. The mom of three shared that she weighed over 90kgs after her daughter was born two and a half years ago. She’s slowly been working off the weight gain over time, not forcing herself into crash diets or extreme measures to drop the extra pounds.

Kate Hudson is the brand ambassador for Weight Watchers and according to her Instagram, it isn’t just a business relationship she actually follows the diet.

Weight Watchers works on a point system, allocating to points to different foods depending on how bad they are for your weight loss. Healthy weight loss foods have fewer points and some even have no points.

Because you are only allowed to have a certain number of points every day, Kate told Women’s Health in 2020 that she liked to focus on eating the zero point foods if she wanted a treat at the end of the day. Doing it this way means she can fit in wine, ice cream and other cheat foods into her points.

Workouts don’t have to be hard

The Coronavirus pandemic has meant that Kate has spent a lot of time at home with the kids over the last year. She wasn’t able to get to the gym which she sees as her idea of fun!

Kate fits workouts into her schedule in small bursts while her kids are busy and also enjoys burning some calories outdoors with her mom. 

Cycling and relaxed walks are a great way to work out and bond for Kate and her mom Goldie Horn.

Don’t count on just one weight-loss tool

Although Kate sticks to the Weight Watchers food list, she also fits her Weight Watchers meals into her intermittent fasting schedule.

She only eats at certain times, which many dieters and scientists say can help you lose weight and boost your metabolism.
