Gayle King has publicly voiced her support of Meghan Markle, claiming the pregnant royal is “a very sweet, caring person”…

The CBS This Morning presenter, who is best friends with Oprah Winfrey – who conducted the exclusive tell-all with Meghan and husband Prince Harry – has come out to defend the pregnant royal amid claims she bullied several members of staff.

Speaking on the US show, Gayle said; “The bullying thing was raised in 2018 and now there’s an ongoing investigation about bullying from Meghan Markle, when anyone who has worked with her will tell you exactly who she is.

“You know, she’s really a very sweet, caring person.

Gayle admitted to checking up on Meghan – who is expecting a baby girl in the next few months – adding that “no one in the royal family has talked to her” following the explosive interview.

Gayle also insisted Meghan has “proof” to back up all her bombshell claims made during the interview

These include; allegations that a member of the Royal Family was ‘concerned’ about Archie’s skin colour, suggestions their children would not inherit titles based on race and her insistence that the palace refused to put an end to bad press surrounding her – including rumours she had a pre-wedding tiff with Prince William’s wife, Kate.

“Meghan has documents to back up everything that she said on Oprah’s interview. Everything,” she added.

Last week Meghan’s close friend, actress Janina Gavankar, claimed the star had “many emails and texts” that supported her claims.

The media personality has also called upon the Royal Family to step up by ‘acknowledging’ Meghan & Harry’s grievances

“The family has to acknowledge that there are issues, and right now, no one is acknowledging, Houston, we have a problem! That’s all they really want. They want a conversation.”

Meanwhile celebs like Beyonce, Serena Williams and Gabrielle Union have also backed Meghan in the wake of her damning Oprah interview.
