Former SABC presenter Zandisile Nhlapo was one of the most memorable females on our television screens in the 90s.

Her amazing beauty, signature short hair and awesome presenting skills made her a favourite for many. Zandi’s beauty even led her to win many pageants such as Miss Sundowns, Miss 707 and more.

She has hosted numerous TV shows such as Continuity, Man 2 Man and Trio. Zandi’s career spanned over twenty years and she has even graced the covers of top magazines like True Love and Y Mag.

The feisty and smart 45-year-old left our screens in 2003 and returned in 2013 when she hosted the Cooking Gospel, a cooking show on e-tv.

Here are some interesting facts about her.

She is an entrepreneur

After leaving the entertainment industry, Zandi went on to become an entrepreneur. She is now the owner of Liquid Image Consulting, a marketing and communication company she runs with her first daughter Ntando.

They offer services such as event management, customer relations, branding, graphic design and more.

Zandi also owns Mini You Mini Me, a kid’s hair salon that helps the little ones find it more enjoyable and fun to have their hair done.

She is a mom

Zandi is a mother of three. She has three gorgeous daughters named Ntando, Nyeleti and Khomotso. She had her first two daughters with her ex-husband Ralph Zikalala. They divorced after eight years of marriage.

She had her last born Khomotso with the late radio presenter Bob Mabena, who she was once engaged to.

She is a grandmother

Zandi is a loving and very stylish grandmother with beautiful granddaughters. She is so proud of her girl squad and shows them off every chance she gets.
