According to reports, the Queen’s husband was admitted to the private King Edward VII Hospital on Tuesday evening as a ‘precautionary measure’ as the prince was feeling unwell.
He is currently under observation and on bed rest. On Wednesday evening he spent his second night in the hospital. According to royal insiders, he is “in good spirits”.
The prince has been staying at Windsor Castle with Queen Elizabeth during the Coronavirus pandemic where they have been hunkered down throughout the lockdown period.
The pair received their Coronavirus vaccinations last month.
