The Queen has a ninth great-grandchild! Princess Eugenie delivered her baby boy on Tuesday, 9 February…

According to a statement from The Royal Family, the Princess’s husband Jack Brooksbank was present at the birth. The 3,65kg baby boy was delivered at The Portland Hospital at 8:55 on Tuesday morning.

This is the same hospital that Meghan Markle chose to give birth to baby Archie.

The Royal family released a statement of congratulations while Princess Eugenie posted an adorable picture of herself, Jack, and the baby’s hands on Instagram. The family has not yet revealed the name of the little one.

“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news,” said a statement from the Royal Family. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

Bookmakers are betting on the new royal’s name

According to a report in The Mirror, the Ladbrokes betting firm says Arthur is the first choice, with James coming in a close second. Other names that are on the radar include Frederick, Edward and Albert.

This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York’s first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.
