The British Royal family shared a stunning photograph of their winter home covered in snow…

The Norfolk braced for bitter cold as Storm Darcy to brought heavy snow and strong winds over the weekend. It was predicted that some areas hit by the storm could see as much as 20cm of snowfall.

According to the post on Instagram, Sandringham House has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. It’s the preferred spot for the Queen to spend her winters, and we can see why. With the coating of snow, it’s been transformed into a real-life winter wonderland.
