Your hands often age faster than any other part of your body. The constant sanitising and hand washing isn’t going to help you keep your hands as young as you feel

Here are 3 simple things you can do to keep your hands, soft supple and smooth.

Sun protection

Like your face, your hands are constantly exposed to the elements; possibly more so because our hands are exposed to all kinds of surfaces, chemicals, soaps and dryness throughout the day too.
Considering what our hands do for us, it might be time we start doing more for them too.
Sun protection for your hands is an absolute must-have not only to prevent sunburn (which is unlikely anyway) but to protect it from the harmful effects of sun exposure which are not limited to ageing.
Sun exposure can increase your chances of skin cancer, which can affect any part of your skin.

Keep them moisturised

Well, moisturised skin is healthier, more elastic and less likely to become wrinkled.
Because your hands are (or at least should be) washed more often than any other part of your body, they should also be moistured more often and with a moisturiser that suits your skin’s needs.
Hand cream with vitamin E and retinoids can help your hands stay young and keep your skin supple.
