Struggling to get your little one down at night? Try these baby sleep tips from Royal nanny Louenna Hood.

Always wondering how Duchess Kate gets it all done in one day without looking exhausted all the time?

She has the help of a brilliant nanny.

Norland Nanny Louenna Hood – from the agency preferred by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has shared some brilliant tips for moms and dads to get your baby to sleep better:

  • If your baby falls asleep in your arms after a feed, wake him gently before putting him in his cot. You don’t have to wake him completely, just for a few seconds so you can say goodnight and so that he can settle in his bed. This way, when your baby goes through a lighter sleep cycle later during the night, he will know where he is and won’t panic and wonder where you’ve gone.
  • Close your baby’s hands – either with his Babygro or in his swaddling blanket so he doesn’t scratch himself while he is sleeping.
