We’re here to tell you.

It drains you emotionally

Relationships have their challenges, but if your relationship makes you feel sad and miserable more than it makes you happy – then this is a sign of toxicity that you shouldn’t ignore. If you’re at the point where you go to sleep feeling hollow and you wake up feeling just as bad, then it might be time to rethink if you really want to be in this relationship.

They always bring you down

If you have a partner that never seems to be happy with anything you do or constantly reminds you of past mistakes, then you know how upsetting this can feel. We’re all human and making mistakes is part of what helps us grow and learn. That’s why you should be with someone who loves you with all your flaws and doesn’t judge you or always bring you down.

When someone does this, it’s their way to shame, control and manipulate you.

The relationship feels one-sided

Relationships are a team effort and if you feel like you’re the only one making an effort to make it work then it’s one-sided. You can either communicate this issue to your partner and ask for things to change or you can decide to end the relationship.

The drama doesn’t end

It seems that no matter how hard you try to fix things in the relationship – nothing changes. The arguments, disrespect and emotional abuse simply won’t end.

They hit you

A relationship that includes physical abuse is not only toxic but dangerous too. If your partner has laid hands on you before, chances are that they will do it again. Is a relationship filled with fear and heartache really what you want for yourself?

If you’re in a toxic relationship, we hope that you find the courage to leave, because no relationship is worth the price of your peace of mind. You deserve a relationship that is safe and filled with compassion, respect and happiness.
