Woman & Home reports that fashion experts have revealed that Kate has taken the fashion influencer of the year crown for 2020.
Kate’s lockdown wardrobe caused sales to spike at retailers and made some of her outfits the most searched items on the web last year.
According to data compiled by Love the Sales, a dress Duchess Kate wore during a social distanced event caused sales to soar.

The dress that took the top spot was Kate’s floral dress, a creation by Faithfull The Brand.
She wore the summer dress during a visit to a children’s hospice and joined families to plant a garden for one of EACH’s purpose-built hospices, The Nook. Our Duchess doing good in style – as always.
This floral dress reportedly sold out in less than 24 hours after Kate wore it and increased searches by 112%.

According to Daily Mail, three other items in Kate’s lockdown wardrobe were popular in 2020.
Broderie Anglaise Shirts – their searches increased by 106%
Scalloped Cardigans – increased by 67% after Kate wore a scalloped cardigan during a Zoom appearance.
Checkered Overcoats – 32% increase after Kate was spotted wearing a checkered overcoat during a visit to the University of Derby.
