Photographs of Diana aboard The Valentino yacht with close friends have surfaced giving fans and the media mixed reactions about the Princess’s state of mind when the photo was taken.
What was she thinking?
Photographs of Princess Diana on a relaxed outing with friends were recently posted on Instagram by Carlo Giammeti, co-founder of the famed Valentino fashion label and a close friend of the Princess.
While some publications thought the pictures showed a pensive and possibly distressed Diana. Reading into the pictures the trials and tribulations the Princess was suffering privately, others thought she seemed playful and even cheeky.
More to Diana than being a Princess
As curiosity about the private life of The Princess of Whales seems to swell with each passing year since her death, numerous tell-all interviews and depictions of Diana have come to light and angered some of her close friends and family.
One such depiction is the Character of Diana on Netflix’s The Crown, the frightfully accurate drama based on the lives of the British Royal family recently aired a new season with the introduction of The Princess of Wales.
True to their docu-series style. The creators of The Crown did not spare the viewers fantasies of the Diana as a real-life fairy Princess. Their depiction of the beloved princess is all real, down to her battle with bulimia and even a scene with her purging into a toilet bowl.
