Mshoza’s manager has shared a special message of thanks to all of the late singer’s fans, while also confirming that her funeral will take place this weekend.
It’s been an emotional seven days for everybody who is associated with the late Kwaito legend, Nomasonto Maswanganyi more popularly known by her stage name, Mshoza. Last week Thursday, 19 February, it was revealed that the Ayina Chorus star had passed away and the country is still having a tough time processing the news. She was an iconic star in her own rights and now we have learned that she will receive a fitting send-off.
Mshoza’s manager hails her fanbase
Mshoza’s manager, Tanduxolo Jindela had the unenviable task of confirming the singer’s death last week. In doing so he confirmed that the kwaito hitmaker had died from complications stemming from diabetes, a condition which she had been living with for years.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to a legend, and although most South Africans were stunned by the news of Mshoza’s sudden passing. Although she had been on the scene for as long as many can remember, it felt as if we had lost the 37-year-old far too soon and the tributes have reflected that.
