After the year that was 2020, we’re looking for a little comfort from star papas and whether they’re rocking a little extra padding, or still flaunting a six pack, it’s their involvement with their kids that makes them some of the hottest dads in Hollywood.
When it comes to daddy-duty, it’s not about the looks, it’s all about being hands-on and involved. We love these Hollywood dads and their devotion to their kids:
1. John Legend
Chrissy Teigen hit the jackpot with her hubby John Legend. Man can sing, man can dance, man can move that dad bod all night long on the stage. On top of it, John is an absolute sweetheart and we couldn’t be more jealous of another woman if we tried.

2. Will Smith
The Fresh Prince has graduated to Hollywood King. He’s got a smile that’ll go straight to your heart, and a body of work that’ll have you fawning over, knowing that Will can go from sculpted boxer Muhammad Ali to 50-something nice-guy dad overnight. This dad of three is a true gem.
3. Jason Momoa
He’s a dad. And he’s shown off his bod many, many times in the past, starting as a lifeguard on Baywatch Hawaii way back when. But just because Jason has softened SLIGHTLY since playing warlord Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones doesn’t mean that he’s let his physique fade – he’s just a little cuddlier these days. We also love how sweet he is with his kids. He’s really a gentle, cuddly giant!

4. Matthew McConaughey
The Texas native loved losing his shirt in the early 2000s while jogging, showing off those abs and of steel in his little shorts. While he’s a little less active these days for the paparazzi, Daddy Matty still looks marvellous with his “curves”.

5. Denzel Washington
Denzel has never been one to show off his body. Yet you know that he’s in shape under those tailored suits – he looks like a million bucks just being himself.

Washington keeps his personal life out of the public eye. The dedicated husband and father married Pauletta Pearson, whom he met on the set of his first screen work, the television film Wilma. They have raised four children together. The kids also followed creative careers, and have made their parents proud.

He can do it all. Comedy? Check – he was adorable Jim Harper in The Office US. Action? Sorted as CIA agent Jack Ryan, whether in the office or in the field firing guns. Dad bod rocking the board shorts at the beach? Absolutely! John is extremely careful to keep his kids away from public scrutiny. In fact, neither he nor his wife Emily Blunt share pics of their two girls on social media.

The dad of 3 knows how to dad just right. He wasn’t even one of those musclemen spies as Jason Bourne in the Bourne action franchise, so it’s not surprising that his Dad Next Door look sets the standard for Hollywood’s fathers.

Okay, ‘dad-bod’ is a bit of a stretch. Marvel’s god of thunder ‘Thor’ looked like he was carved from granite in the movies. Nowadays he’s a smidge less toned but still droolworthy – the dad of two loves hitting the beach outside his mansion in Australia to go surfing. Beach + dad bod = Aussie delight! He’s a super fun and involved dad, who loves to play with his kids doing numerous outdoor activities.

Nick Jonas isn’t a dad (yet), so he’s getting the Uncle Bod of the Year award! While he was chiselled to play MMA cage fighter Nate Kulina in action show Kingdom, he’s gone more down-to-earth and nicer guy next door after marrying actress Priyanka Chopra in 2018 and watching his brother Joe and sister-in-law Sophie have a 2020 tot.
