On Tuesday morning, mama-to-be, Minnie Dlamini expressed her frustrations over designing and sorting her nursery for Baby Jones.
The SA celeb has celebrated three extravagant baby showers, and has been inundated with gifts for the little one. However, it seems from her most recent tweet that she doesn’t have anywhere for Baby Jones to sleep yet!
The actress and media personality is well into her pregnancy, and is feeling “exhausted” and “overwhelmed” with the pressures of putting together a perfect nursery for the imminent arrival.
She has now decided to rope in the help of some professionals.
In her full post she said: “Planning, designing and sorting out the perfect space for a nursery is a lot of work… I’m a bit overwhelmed. I really thought I could do it on my own but I need some professional help. I’m exhausted and feeling like I’m running out of time…”

We’ve put together some stunning inspiration from 10 other celebs and their nurseries.
If you’re feeling stuck for nursery design ideas, take a leaf out of their design book:
1. Beauty blogger, Daniella Monet
We love the neutrals and wood with the splashes of green in this serene nursery.
2. Singer, Hilary Duff
Simple and ‘happy’. The splashes of colour and muted lighting make this a perfect little sanctuary.
3. Actor Jesse Tyler
Colourful and creative! This nursery is all about playfulness. Having a colourful feature wall while keeping the other walls neutral creates a pleasing balance.
4. Model Jenna Dewan
The black and white and cream theme is a popular choice, and we can see why. It’s simple and stylish, and adding some playful murals on the wall creates an element of fun. This is the kind of nursery that will grow with the baby – just by simply changing up the artwork.
5. Popular YouTube star, Madison Bontempo
With such exquisitely tall ceilings, the large lights are a must-have, and add a lovely natural element to the room. Simple but stylish, with a nod to nature.
6. Public health historian, Dr Ijeoma Kola
We adore this wallpaper! There’s so many fun pictures to keep baby distracted during changing. This will have baba dreaming of safaris and awesome animal adventures all night long.
7. Star of Netflix series, Yummy Mummies, Rachel Watts
This stunning wallpaper brings the ‘outside in’. It’s a smart design technique as it cuts down on the need for other artwork, but still fills the wall with visual interest. We also love the pops of mustard and that crib is just stunning.
8. Model Minki Van Der Westhuizen
Definitely a room for a little princess. The vintage rose colour on the walls, fairly lights, and drapes around the bed create a gentle, cosy space for mom and baba to enjoy.
9. Actress Tamera Mowry
Another princess room! The crown and chandelier add a sparkle to the space, while the soft furnishings are perfect for tired moms and babies to relax in.
10. “Seventh Heaven” actress Haylie Duff
Woodland animals, rosegold elements and a luxurious leather couch. This stunning nursery combines comforts for mom and baby in a perfect little space. This is also a room that baba can grow into. The crib can become a bed when she’s old enough, but the general elements are timeless.
