Now’s your chance to eat at some of the country’s top restaurants while still staying within your budget…

Restaurant Week originated in 1992 in New York City and was the brainchild of Tim Zagat, the creator of the Zagat Survey, and Joe Baum, a famous New York restaurateur. It was such a popular concept that it spread throughout the country, and has now been adopted by a number of foodie havens around the world.

It’s a chance to eat out at some of the best-rated restaurants for less. In the current economic climate, we could all do with a little less load on our wallets, but we still need some spoils. Restaurant week is the perfect time to get out and celebrate the culinary skills in South Africa.

This year, after the restaurant industry was devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic, Restaurant Week will help kickstart the industry and support struggling businesses.
