Inspired by the success of the partnership with rapper AKA, CRUZ Vodka is adding another celebrity to its “family.”
The brand has announced its latest venture with rapper, model and TV presenter Nomuzi Mabena, known to fans as Moozlie.
In a press release, the brand said: “This relationship has been years in the making with Moozlie as a loyal friend of CRUZ, becoming a staple on the brand’s exclusive, star-studded SA Fashion Week party guest list.”
CRUZ is intent on building “an opulent, connected but inclusive and well-represented culture” around its brand.
“In an effort to clear the runway and lead the femme-powerment movement, this young and determined woman is undoubtedly well-equipped to build a culture around the CRUZ brand that is as rich, as dynamic and as empowering as the vodka the brand makes.”

Moozlie shot onto the scene as a model and stepped up as an MTV Base VJ in 2012
These days, she reigns as a rapper, fashion designer and all-round creative.
She credits CRUZ for being “one of the most forward-thinking brands” she’s ever worked with.
“I appreciate that this brand respects the influence and creative genius artists bring to the table.”
Moozlie is certain the partnership “will lead to more music, more good times, more milestones and more success for the whole team.”
The latest brand partner will represent and build interest around the Manhattan Blossom vodka, a decadent vodka infused with juniper, rose, spiced ruby grapefruit and cucumber.
CRUZ said: “The premium New York dry craft vodka was developed as a first for South Africa and has done exceptionally well since launching in October 2019.”
Moozlie excitedly remarks: “A seed planted over many years has finally blossomed.”
