Anti-crime activist, Yusuf Abramjee posted a video of a bizarre alleged “kidnapping” attempt which took place in the West Rand recently…
Thankfully, quick action from a member of the public helped save the girl.
According to Abramjee’s tweet, a family was sitting at Bella Napoli in Florida, West Rand, when a man jumped over the balustrade and grabbed the child.
In the video, a member of the public can be seen jumping into action to restrain the alleged kidnapper while the child’s family quickly get away from the scene. The suspect is wrestled to the ground. He was arrested at the scene.

Tweeps speculated that this was a case of a desperate father not being able to see his child due to relationship conflict, but video footage of the suspect surfaced in which he allegedly confessed to the attempted kidnapping for ‘drugs’.
There’s more to this than it meets the eye! This isn’t some random case of kidnapping. I believe this guy & the mother of the child know each other very well. Possibly separated/divorced parents who’re at loggerheads with each other & now the child is caught in the middle!!!

Common sense dictates that the man might be the father who : 1. Might have been denied access to the child.
2. The mother and the father has divorced of they
have marital challenges.
3. If none of the above, the man is sent by the father.— Pesheshe (@CodesaSellout) September 11, 2020
According to a report by IOL on Friday afternoon, the 24-year-old suspect appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrate Court where he faces a charge of assault. He is not yet charged with kidnapping, but the investigation is continuing.
