“Jerusalema. The sound is here! With my boys!! We tried! Level 2!” tweeted South Africa’s minister of finance, Tito Mboweni on Sunday…
He posted a clip of himself and his sons dancing to Master KG’s hit track Jerusalema.
The song ignited a dance craze around the world, with thousands taking part in the #JerusalemaChallenge including celebs, and healthcare workers.
There were mixed reviews of Mboweni’s moves. Some delighted in seeing the minister enjoying family time with his children.
Some social media users were more interested in his boots with untied laces than the dance itself. Others thought he should stick to his day job rather than dancing and cooking. This after his photo of a chicken stew with loads of garlic also went viral last week.

Done. Mission accomplished. Simple but very tasty. And economic. pic.twitter.com/KSatg9r8CW
