POLOKWANE – The Police in Ritavi outside Tzaneen have launched a manhunt for an unknown suspect who allegedly raped two children aged three (03) at Topanama village on Thursday, 6 August 2020 at about 15h30…

The two children allegedly went to fetch water from a narrow stream not far from their home and met an unknown man wearing a blue work suit. The man allegedly threatened them with a sharp object and raped them.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has condemned this incident and has directed the investigators to hunt the suspect down and bring him to book.

“As the police continue to fight the scourge of crimes perpetrated against women and children, parents and guardians are urged to be vigilant and always look after their children,” concluded General Ledwaba.
